LOCAL NEWTOWN RESIDENT WINS
CONNECTICUT BMX CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
Newtown, CT November 11, 2008 - Newtown resident, Seth Morris recently won the State BMX Championship, placing first in Connecticut for his age and proficiency (13 year-old Rookie).
The State Championship Race at Foothills BMX track in Torrington, was run on September 7th. Morris was also the winner of the 2007 LEAP (Local Earned Award Program) at his home track, the Bethel Supercross. Seth was the top scoring rookie of 113 rookies eligible for the honor.
